What's on Alligator's Bookshelf?

When you walk into a library or bookstore, you're immediately assaulted by titles and covers of all sorts, organized by audience and genre. That's great. But within each of those sections are books you'll love and books you'll hate, not to mention books with content kids shouldn't really be reading. It's hard to know which book to get.

That's where Alligator's Bookshelf comes in.

I've collected my very favorite books to recommend to you. I enjoy fantasy, realistic fiction, mysteries, and more, but all the books on my bookshelf have three things in common:

1. They are well-written. These authors have excellent writing skill that readers of all ages can enjoy and learn from.

2. The plot and characters are compelling. Even non-readers can get behind the adventures, mysteries, and dramas on my bookshelf.

3. The thematic content is age-appropriate and consistent with a Christian worldview. The publishing world is quickly becoming more liberal, and most books being published now deal with issues of race and sexuality. While not all of these themes are bad, the books I put on my bookshelf do not promote the LGBTQ movement or sexuality. And if there's anything Christian parents might be concerned about, my review will let you know!
